There’s no question in my mind that you’re going to be living with God when that day comes. And btw. Everybody that wants to live with God will be living with him. If your child wanted to live with you, I’d there’s anything that you wouldn’t do to make sure that happened? There is enough space for everyone. Those that don’t want to be with God will live in a place where God will visit them to continue to help them progress. Most will want to live with God. Most of us will live with him 49 year old active member and returned missionary, divorced twice with 4 kids.

The weeds honestly don’t matter but this shows some things to me. The Book of Mormon isn’t written by people in Central America. The title page in the Book of Mormon says that it was written by the ancestors of the American Indians. Since then, some people hypothesized that it is about Central America etc. Including FARMS which is tied to a former apostle and BYU. The title page of the Book of Mormon and its description says what it is. It’s an important detail that shows me he’s looking for things to back up his beliefs. Which I get. If the Book of Mormon is authentic then to me it’s so unbelievable by that I’m not concerned how it got here. But if I’m at the end of my rope and just need out. Just to keep my sanity. Then I look for things to give me an excuse to get out and be able to still have some inner peace. I feel this guy. This stuff isn’t easy. This guy is just exhausted. I’ve been there. God loves you the same whether you do or not.

I feel a ton of compassion for this guy. I’m serious and I’m not just trying to take the high road. No child should feel like our love for them is anything but unconditional. Any person who feels this way, would most likely feel the way this guy feels. Our children should know to their core that they are loved and valued and worried about for no other reason other than they are ours. Once we know that, then all the imperfections of the church won’t hurt so bad. I am LDS. I am a single father to three teenage girls. I have full custody. I’ve been married in the temple twice and have had both spouses choose out of the church. I am currently active. My entire life I have fallen in and out of love with Jesus restored organization but my heart has never strayed from following him as best as I can.

Trust that God’s son Jesus lived a perfect life and died to take your punishment for your wrongdoing so that when you die Gid will not judge you but honors your belief in Jesus as though you lived that perfect life and rewards you with Heaven. No striving and doubt, just resting in confidence and thankfulness that Jesus and God gave you what you do not deserve.
